Police chief arrests 48 relatives - Yahoo! News

So this guy has arrested 48 relatives, including some of his wife's. I bet you anything you like he hasn't dared to arrest his mother-in-law!

A police chief in a remote county of southwestern China has taken down 48 of his relatives, including brothers, cousins and a number of his wife's family, for various crimes, local media said on Tuesday.

Laobulaluo, a police chief in Heizhugou township, Sichuan province, had seen 25 relatives either jailed, sent for "re-education through labor," or punished in other ways, according to a report posted on state news portal Chinanews.com ( http://www.chinanews.com.cn ).

A duck in China has become a celebrity for its singing, dancing and counting abilities.

According to Dahe Daily, Bengbeng (Silly), follows its owner, Du Xinai of Xingxiang city, to the local agricultural market to buy vegetables every day, wearing a small red scarf and a pair of tiny shoes.

"If you ask him to sing, he quacks rhythmically while shaking his head and body. He quite enjoys it."

"If you put up one finger, he quacks once, then twice with two fingers, and so on."

Du says Bengbeng has become quite a star. "Everywhere he goes, people welcome him like a super star."

Man Pulls Plane With Teeth

A Chinese man has pulled a small aeroplane more than ten metres with his teeth.

Chinese man Zhang Shaoxiong has pulled an aeroplane 10 metres with his teeth /Lu Feng

Zhang Shaoxiong, 42, nicknamed Dragon Boy, performed the stunt in Red Sun square in Xiangtan city.

"It wasn't a big deal for me. I've pulled things that are even heavier," he told Changsha Evening News.

Zhang says he was inspired to train himself to pull heavy objects with his teeth 20 years ago.

Zhang says his super-strong teeth also come from his life-long habit of chewing betel nuts.

A jewellery company in China has made a bra out of more than 2,500 diamonds.

Priced at 10 million yuan (approx £650,000) and named Perfect, it was demonstrated by a model at the Yibai Department Store in Jinhua city, Zhejiang province.

"The clasp of the bra is a 5.4 carat sapphire surrounded by 60 small diamonds", added the spokesman.
