Texas police arrest intruder suspect in bath

After reports that an intruder had broken down a door of a house, Texas police arrived to find the culprit having a bath.

After a short struggle (always dangerous in a bathroom) the suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

Well, at least he came clean.

San Antonio is full of Poop

This is a marvelous thing - creating energy from human waste. I wonder if some cities would do better than others?

Washingon DC must lead the country on volume of political waste - they could probably keep most of the lights on the East Coast burning.

San Francisco might actually produce mind altering energy based on the amount of drugs in the sewage system.

New York would have very steady energy levels considering its population continuously spouts the stuff.

Any cities that might be different for you?

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - The last time cat-owner Kelly Levy saw her tiger-striped feline was before she took her husband to the airport. The 24-year-old came back to her house late Friday to find the bottom step, where Gracie Mae would usually be waiting, empty.

Seth Levy, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. holds his 10 month old cat, Gracie Mae at home in Palm Beach Gardens, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. The cat sneaked into Seth's suitcase for a flight to Dallas/Ft. Worth and landed in Texas. At baggage claim, another passenger mistakenly grabbed the suitcase and when he returned home Gracie Mae jumped out. "Hi, you're not going to believe this, but I am calling from Fort Worth, Texas, and I accidentally picked up your husband's luggage. And when I opened the luggage, a cat jumped out," Levy recalled the caller saying, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Gracie Mae had crawled into Seth Levy's black suitcase undetected, been put through an X-ray machine, loaded onto an airplane, thrown onto a baggage claim conveyor belt and picked up by a stranger.

Carter delivered Gracie Mae to Seth Levy and the tabby made the 1,300-mile trip home on an $80 plane ticket Sunday night.

Rub a Dub Dub, 87 Snakes in a Tub

Ain't a lot going on in Dublin, Texas.

DUBLIN, Texas - Another day, another bizarre world record for Jackie Bibby, the "Texas Snake Man." Bibby spent about 45 minutes in a see-through bathtub with 87 rattlesnakes Monday, fully clothed, shattering his own record by 12 snakes just in time for Guinness World Records Day, which is Thursday. A Guinness official certified the record.

"They can go wherever they want as long as they don't start biting," Bibby said. "The key to not biting is for me to stay still. Rapid movement scares a rattlesnake. If you move real slow and gentle, that doesn't seem to bother them."

The clear bathtub was specially made several years ago for Bibby by the Guinness folks for a televised segment. He has used it for subsequent attempts at the record for sitting in a tub with snakes.

The Texas Snake Man also claims to hold non-sanctioned records for climbing into a sleeping bag head first with 20 rattlesnakes and going in feet first with 112.
