It’s a clammy September day and as the Brighton man sips a cup of coffee the rolling surf certainly looks tempting.
Bathing, gardening and even washing up are just some of the everyday chores George has to complete with careful precision.
The reason is an extremely rare genetic condition which inflicts George with an electric shock-type feeling at the touch of water.
My hands and feet get unbearably painful, especially if they’re touched by hot or cold water.
Water basically gives me an electric shock so I have to be very careful around it.
